Marko's Place

Hi! I'm Rick, and this will be my first opera. 

I moved to this town not long ago, and it was right here, in this small, special grove, that I met him for the first time — Marko, my best friend. 

He doesn't talk much; he prefers to observe. He's a rather solitary, habitual guy. He always does the same things, follows the same paths. Besides this place, he really likes to draw. He walks, he draws, he leaves. 

We get along quite well, and I'm really glad that you did what you did. 

And that I'm going to do what I'm going to do.
